# userinfo

This command displays information about a user. The information shown is their ID, if they are a bot, the creation date, and the avatar.

If the user is in the current server, it will also show when they joined and their roles.

## Required permissions

MoonlightBot requires the following permissions to successfully execute this command:

By default, a user is required to have the following permissions to use this command:

## Syntax

```
/userinfo [user]
```

### Options

* `user`: The user to show information of; if this is not provided, it defaults to yourself

## Logs

*This command does not trigger any log events.*
